Enrollment
Participants receive further information on the exact location, literature etcetera by e-mail a few weeks prior to the course or workshop.
Information for KLI members
KLI members can enroll in courses and workshops online through the KLI website. Twice a year, in July and November, you will receive a call for enrollment by e-mail. The deadlines for registration are August 15 and December 15. New members can also enroll during the rest of the year, by sending an e-mail to the KLI-office.
To enroll please go to the Member Section and log in. Your login is your e-mail address as known in the KLI administration. To get your password press ‘click here’ at the bottom of the page: your login information will then be sent to your e-mail address.
When logged in choose ’Register’ in the menu on the left. Choose the semester you want to enroll in, click on a course or workshop, press the button ’click here to enroll’ and confirm.
Participation
Because some courses have a maximum number of participants, it may not be possible to participate in all the courses you have enrolled in. Priority is given on the basis of start date of the PhD project. In case of cancellations those on the ‘waiting list’ will be invited to participate. If you are unable to attend a course you have registered for please inform the KLI office as soon as possible so that someone else can take your place.
Costs
For formal KLI members the costs for participation in the teaching program are included in the annual membership fee.Cancellation
Withdrawal is possible untill a week before the course or workshop starts, at the KLI-office. In case of later cancellation or not participating without notifying the KLI-office, a warning will be sent. In case of 3 late cancellations or not participating without notification, exclusion from the KLI teaching program will follow. Cancellations because of illness or other special circumstances will of course be accepted without consequenses.Information for non-members
As of the academic year 2011-2012, PhD students who are not a member of the Kurt Lewin Institute can no longer participate in KLI courses and workshops.
The criteria and procedure to apply for KLI membership are outlined in the menu Membership.
